Vispius Memory
Within this project I wanted to create an Object of the memory, an object with history that could also be savored, and that would unify the past and present of Aragón into one object and sculpture. The object should describe and interpret its interior as well as exterior, in particular with respect to the heritage and traditional values of the Bespén region.
The Region: Somontano
The Winery: Estrada Palacio. A small winery of the Spanish Somotano region with a long tradition of wine production and respect for the environment. The family estate of this winery has been handed down as inheritance from generation to generation.
The Wine : Vispius Memory.(Limited Edition)
The Label: Represents a fox, an animal almost extinct in the region and known as “Raboso”. The label pays homage to the animal as an important yet vanishing element of the land where the wine is produced.
Grapes: Garnacha Centenario, Tempranillo and (Moriste). Rescued grape variety for the making of this wine.
